Diners should prepare themselves for the gastronomic experience of the season when InterContinental Bangkok’s Theo Mio launches their new autumn black truffle promotion from October to the end of season. Under the expertise of the restaurant’s award-winning Chef Theo Randall, the delectable new menu will feature a range of pasta, risotto and meat-centric dishes, with this premium ingredient as the star. Autumn black truffles are acclaimed for their rich aroma and bold, earthy flavours and at Theo Mio, guests will get to relish truffles paired with ingredients that best complement their distinctive taste.

For instance, the tartare di manzo con parmigiano e tartufo nero truffled steak tartare with parmesan and black truffle adds a new dimension of flavour to this classic raw beef recipe. Meat enthusiasts will also appreciate the tagliata con tartufo Australian sirloin tagliata, truffle meat juices, rocket, parmesan and truffle. This prime cut of beef is grilled with autumn black truffles for a more fragrant result, and then topped with additional truffles for a lavish culinary experience.

Adding an ocean element into the mix, the talented chefs of Theo Mio have also created a fish dish to do justice to this versatile ingredient. The Barramundi al cartoccio, spinaci e tartufo nero Barramundi baked with vermouth and black truffle, asparagus and spinach is a triumph in contrasting flavours, pulled together by the vibrant and refreshing vermouth component.

Meanwhile, pasta aficionados won’t want to miss out on the taglierini al tartufo nero taglierini in butter and parmesan emulsion with black truffle, gnocchi con tartufo nero handmade gnocchi with black truffle, spinach and cream. Of course, no Italian menu is complete without a risotto dish, and here the risotto bianco con tartufo Nero or white risotto with truffle, meat juices and brown butter should prove a worthy contender for the best risotto of the season.
