Guests can savour Bangkok’s five famous street food recipes that are only known by locals, including Roasted Duck, Phad Thai Goong Sod, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Khao Kha Moo (Stewed Pork Knuckle), Jok (Congee) and then end the night with unique traditional Thai dessert, Kanom Krok (Griddle Coconut Pudding). Must-try street food for dinners to experience including Ped Yang-Roasted Duck, cooked in a Hung Oven, carefully heated to produce a brittle skin with juicy tender meat. The famous Phad Thai Goong Sod cannot be missed. Rice noodles flavoured with tamarind pulp together with local spices and topped with fresh tiger prawns. Khao Kha Moo – Stewed Pork Knuckle cooked in a savoury rich soya sauce based broth and Chinese aromatic spices to tender perfection.
Khao Man Gai – Hainanese Chicken Rice served with slices of juicy capon meat and eaten with a unique piquant sauce. The last dish to enjoy is Jok – Congee, a slow cooked rice that is served with tender pork balls, soft-boiled egg, ginger and deep-fried dough stick.
Diners can enjoy a parade of scrumptious seafood from live-cooking stations. Highlighted dishes include unlimited Canadian Lobsters, Alaskan King Crabs, Three-Continent Oysters and Bacon Slider with Squid Ink Brioche Bun and many more.
Complete your Saturday night meal with NEXT2 Café’s recommended dessert menu, Kanom Krok or Coconut Griddle Pudding. A unique Thai traditional sweet delicacy, often prepared on the street-side by vendors who make it to order.
