Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant is excited to welcome another renowned Michelin-star Chef Roland Durand from France to work his magic for 3 nights only from 6th – 8th March 2019.

Roland Durand was chef-patron of the Michelin-starred Le Passiflore, a modern bistro-style restaurant in Paris serving gastronomic cuisine. The restaurant was also renowned for its bi-monthly wine-pairing dinners. Prior to establishing Le Passiflore in 2001, Chef Roland helmed the kitchens of many Europe’s finest restaurants and hotels, including the two Michelin-starred Le Pre Catelan in Paris; the one Michelin-starred restaurant at the Sofitel Paris; and The Savoy in London. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including several gold medals at international competitions such as the Grand Prix Culinaire International Auguste Escoffier, and has been named a ‘Master Chef of France’ by the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France competition.

The multi-award-winning chef will create special à la carte dishes and a French-inspired five-course dinner that will surely satisfy your taste buds. Highlights of the exclusive Michelin-star dining experience will include appetizers of homemade French raviolis stuffed with Burgundy snails, garlic and herbs, French foie gras with mango and beetroot julienne, and spinach cream soup served with Caribbean blood sausage. Main dishes include Maine lobster with porcini and seasonal vegetables, Dover sole with scallops, tiger prawns served in crustacean bisque, and roasted New Zealand lamb rack with cumin and homemade spätzlis pasta. There will also be divine desserts such as rice pudding with candied quince, orgeat coulis and pea flowers, Chef Roland Durand’s signature strawberry shortbread, and chocolate and Espelette pepper soufflé.
