Throughout the Chinese New Year, between 4-10 February 2019, Bangkok Marriott The Surawongse is celebrating the golden Year of the Pig with food and drinks to be enjoyed with loved ones, families and friends that include delectable Chinese dishes and various fun activities to add fun and joy as well as bringing prosperity to the Year of the Pig.

Yào Restaurant on the 32nd floor entices with classic Chinese elements and modern metropolitan flair that will make your feel like celebrating New Year in the heart of the charming and stylish Shanghai. Enjoy a wide selection of Cantonese and Shanghainese dishes that are sure to impress every gourmand.

During the special and auspicious Chinese New Year, Yào Restaurant delivers best wishes with dishes by experienced Chinese chefs. The menus include a la carte items, dim sum set menu (THB 1,888 per person) and set menus laced with auspicious meanings to bring good fortune and happiness (Starts from THB 3,500 per person). Wang Wen Bin, the native Chinese chef will prepare a special appearance at Yào Restaurant to showcase his thrilling noodles pulling technique. The meals at Yào Restaurant will also be accompanied by the beautiful sounds of traditional Chinese music on ku-cheng, a Chinese classical instrument.

Lunch set during Chinese New Year is served at the restaurant from 11.30am to 2.30pm and set dinner from 6pm to 10.30pm. Guests can also dine in private rooms or VIP chambers that can accommodate 6-20 people, with stunning view and natural light to further delight the special meal during the auspicious festivity.
