27 April 2018, Korean food fans and eager experimenters alike are in line for five days and nights of culinary fireworks at The Rain Tree Café, as it presents its first-ever Korean Food Festival, headlining two distinguished guest chefs from South Korea direct.
Scheduled for Wednesday 9 May to Sunday 13 May 2018 at the heritage-rich The Athenee Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok’s leafy-street-facing restaurant on Wireless, the festival features the signature dishes of Messrs. Suk Chul Lim and Jin Su Bang. The restaurant is lucky to have them as their services have recently been much in demand not only in Seoul and Incheon but Hanoi, Beijing, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Hainan and Suzhou.
Ornamenting The Rain Tree Café’s already stellar international lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch buffets with up to 30 specialties, the two experts will also personally prepare dishes to order at vibrant live stations. Indeed Mr. Bang is a live-cooking specialist with the awards to prove it!
There are too many highlights of the menus the two collaborators’ have conceived to leave no doubts among diners that Korean cuisine is among the world’s finest. One thing we can say for sure is that with diners having the pleasure of selecting from Beef Bone Soup to Sautéed Spicy Anchovy, Marinated Blue Crab Salad to Broiled Eel, Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap to Pumpkin Porridge, Pigs’ Trotters to Spicy Skate, Braised Pork Short Ribs to Andong Chicken Stew, and many more, it’s going to be quite a culinary experience.
